Sara is a Pacific Northwest writer, and a real live escaped Yooper. She has been through every state in the lower 48, and has lived in six of them.
She has ridden horses in multiple disciplines, including dressage, reining, jumping, vaulting, and side saddle.
Among other things, Sara has worked as a riding instructor, a horse trainer, a paid Elizabethan recreator, a knitting instructor, and a stage hand.
She graduated from Sweet Briar College with majors in anthropology and english, minoring in history.
She loves pre-industrial history, literature, and shiny things.
